The Voice Season 22 finalist Morgan Myles recently shared some exciting news with fans on Instagram. The singer revealed that she signed a record deal with KZZ Music and Blue Élan Records. Myles also announced that she has new music on the way soon.

The Voice Star Morgan Myles Signs Record Deal

Myles shared the exciting news on her Instagram last week, writing that she’s “been holding this in for months now.” She included photos of her signing the papers and smiling at the camera. She called this a “wonderful new chapter.”

“Words can’t express my gratitude to be working with an amazing team who embraces my versatility as an artist, I finally feel understood for the first time,” Myles wrote. “I’ve been wanting to feel safe and surrounded by good people and God finally lead [sic] me here. It’s been over 18 years of persevering in Nashville and what’s crazy is we’re now just getting started.”

According to Heavy, Myles was first introduced to the record company shortly before she appeared on The Voice. She started talking to label president Kirk Pasich in February, saying she was “blown away by his passion for music and his way of helping artists.”

Myles Has New Music Coming Soon

This week, Myles announced her first single with the new label, called “Vertigo.” In her Instagram announcement, the singer called the song her “new baby.” It will be released August 8 and is available for pre-order now.

She told Heavy that she has “lots of new music coming out,” including songs she’s been working on for almost three years, as well as a Christmas duet that she wrote. We can’t wait to hear what she has up her sleeve.

Myles competed on Season 22 of The Voice on Camila Cabello’s team, after turning all four coaches’ chairs with her Blind Audition performance of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” She ended up finishing the competition in third place.
