One Direction Reportedly Reunited After 7 Year-Hiatus to Record New Music

Seven years after their hiatus, One Direction has reportedly reunited in the same studio together. The mini reunion, however, failed to find the all five boys complete as two members were absent.

Three One Direction Members Reportedly Recorded New Music Together

One Direction has finally had the time to reconnect after years calling it quits. According to an unnamed source, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne have met up in a studio. Unfortunately though, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik were reportedly not present at the time.

The three bandmates purportedly got together to record a track for Payne’s album in progress. Seemingly, Tomlinson and Horan will serve as guest vocals for the musical project.

“Liam is great pals with Niall and Louis, so loved catching up with them while they were all in LA. Being in the studio together felt natural, so they all jumped on a track,” the source said.

As the source said, singing together “felt like old times” to One Direction, especially that it is “second nature” for the band. Also, the source mentioned that they had a “right laugh” together.

“Producers are hoping Liam includes it on his finished album, fans will love it,” the source said.

Sadly, Styles and Malik, who left a year earlier than the band’s hiatus in 2015, were a no show. This comes after Payne confirmed that One Direction has a new group chat.

Harry Styles Says He’s Open to Reunite with the Group

Amid absence in the reported recording session, Styles has nevertheless made it clear before that he’s not closing his doors to the band’s potential comeback. As a matter of fact, he expressed that he will “never say never” to that possibility.

During an episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, Styles read the question “Yes or no, will there be a One Direction reunion?”

The “As It Was” singer answered surely as the audience waited for a positive response.

“I think I would never say never to that,” he said. “If there was a time when we wanted to do it, I don’t see why we wouldn’t.”
